Ref to the Rescue

During the 2018 Super Bowl, most people are interested with the game, who's winning or losing, or everything that is going wrong for their team, but for me I am mostly interested in the commercials. New commercials come out every year during the Super Bowl. I am always excited to see who will have new commercials and how they will be presented. Brands and companies always come up with new ideas, slogans, and eye catching commercials for their products. While I liked many of the commercials this year my favorite is Ref to the Rescue. Ref to the Rescue is about a Ref showing up to a little kids soccer game in the new 2018 Hyundai Kona. The game is on Super Bowl Sunday and the Ref red cards all the little kids so he and everyone else can get home on time to watch the Super Bowl.

The purpose of this commercial is defiantly to get the image of the new car on tv so people will want to by it but I think the commercial also serves for a good laugh even if the big game may not be going in your team's favor.

The main audience for the commercial is really anyone. Hyundai wanted a cute and funny commercial a lot of people could relate to and also to get as many people as possible interested in the new car. Parents with little kids who play on a soccer or other sports may relate because during that game they my have million different things they need to do(like watching the super bowl) but of course watching their kids play in a sporting event is more important. Anyone who loves little kids will relate because they were so cute. Also anyone who has experience a bad ref or who has had a bad call called on them will relate. All these people will like the commercial and in turn they will hear about the new 2018 Hyundai which is the main goal of this commercial.

The genre of this commercial is cars but I think there is more to this commercial than just the new car.
